Heylo everyone! I’m sorry for not being crazy super active with my posts this week, I’ve just been interneted-out lately, and I just don’t get on here very much. But hopefully next week I’m a little more active because I always feel crappy if I don’t post at least three to four times a week! Anyways, I thought I’d try out this “Book Beginnings” tag thing by Rose City Reader, where you just quote the beginning sentences of the novel you’re reading and give some thoughts on how you feel! Shouldn’t be too crazy intricate or complex, just sounds nice and relaxing, to be honest! This week though, I’m reading Generation One by Pittacus Lore (James Frey) and it’s been a much-awaited series!

“IN A DISTANT GALAXY, THE PEACEFUL PLANET LORIEN WAS DECIMATED BY THE BRUTAL MOGADORIANS.”
Now to a lot of new readers, this wouldn’t make any sense. But that is because this book is the continuation of six books prior in the series! The prior series is called The Lorien Legacies, which is about teenage aliens coming to Earth to save Earth from a group of crazy evil aliens. And Generation One pretty much takes place exactly where the last book in the Lorien Legacies left off! So for me, when I read this line, I got crazy excited because it just brought back memories of my favorite alien children. The Lorien Legacies is one that I kept up with in my earlier teen years, and I read them as each one came out, so I’ve been with them for quite awhile and they hold a special place in my heart! I’ve been just dying to completely immerse myself back with my alien friends and meet the new characters! I’m crazy excited to see what James has in story for this series as well!
So yeah, that was pretty nice and fun! I’m hoping to finish this one over the weekend and have some reviews up! A friend of mine is getting married on Saturday though, and I probably won’t be getting very much reading in on that day, unfortunately.
But anyways, I hope y’all have a great Friday and Happy Reading!
